The short version

fishyfishy is a Ledger and trip planner for anglers: your own record of fishing days, a place to share your catches, and a way to plan trips together. Be honest about your catches, be decent to other anglers, post only photos you took, and the site is yours to use. These terms say the same at length.

Who you agree with

The site is run by Infranet Partners Systems OÜ, registry code 17539134, Mäe tn 4, Väätsa alevik, Türi vald, Järva maakond, 72801, Estonia. By registering you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice. Questions: infranetsystems@proton.me, or Help & contact on the site.

Your account

One account per person, under a name you choose; the name cannot be changed later. You must have reached the age at which your country lets you agree to a service like this yourself — in Estonia, 13; the registration form shows it for the country you pick. Keep your password to yourself: what is done from your account is done by you. Tell us if you think somebody else got in.

Organiser accounts

Someone who runs fishing trips for others can have an organiser account beside their own angler account — the one exception to one account per person. The owners turn organiser accounts on. An organiser account plans trips for others and can keep its own notes about them, such as the places, the people who come and payments. The site handles no money; payment is a matter between the organiser and the people on the trip. The notes are seen only by that account, and by the owners where needed to help; each person on a trip sees their own payment marks.

What you post

Your catches, photos, words and comments stay yours. By posting them you let us show them on the site in the ways the site works, scaled and cropped as screens need, and let other anglers see them there. You can delete a catch, a comment or your whole account at any time; what you delete is gone from the site at once and from the backups within 30 days.

Post only photos you took yourself or have the right to use, and only pictures of people who are fine with being on the site. Keep your catches honest: a wrong fish or a wrong weight spoils the records and the water's page for everyone. A catch that looks unusual may be checked before it counts.

Not here: advertising, selling, spam, links to things that have nothing to do with fishing; insults, threats and harassment; anything unlawful. The exact place of a catch is yours to share or to hide, per catch — hide it when you want to.

Moderation

Moderators and owners can remove a catch or a comment, edit a wrong detail with a note to you, or suspend an account that breaks these terms. The angler whose catch it is can remove any comment under it — their catch, their wall. We try to tell you why, and we keep a record of what was done and by whom. A removed catch is kept for 30 days in case the removal was a mistake, then purged. Repeated or serious breaches end the account.

The site's own content

The waters, the fish, the records and the closed-season table are put together by us and by the anglers, with care but without guarantee. The closed-season table is our reading of the rules; it is there to help, and the law is what counts — check it before you go. A catch marked "closed season" is a note to the angler, not a verdict.

What the site does not promise

fishyfishy is a community site, offered as it is, free of charge. It can be down, slow or changed. We make regular backups and take care to keep the site safe, but we cannot promise that nothing is ever lost — keep your own copies of photos that matter to you. Within the limits of Estonian law, we are not liable for loss or damage that comes from using the site or from not being able to.

Ending

You can delete your account whenever you like, under Settings. We can close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why, and we can close the site itself; in that case we would say so ahead of time and give you time to download your data.

Law and changes

Estonian law applies; disputes go to the courts of Estonia, with the rights a consumer has anyway. The date of the last change stands on this page. If we change something that matters, we tell members before it applies, by email or on the site.
